in adaptive and assistive technology that embrace the Universal Design
Principle - an approach to the design of products, services and environments

or circumstance. The 2007 da Vinci Awards will be held at the Ritz-Carlton

"The
Miracle League" is a charitable organization that provides children
with mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball
as a team member in an organized league. There is something about playing
the game of baseball that lights up youngsters’ eyes, but for
children facing physical and mental challenges, that opportunity can
often be a difficult first step. The Miracle League gives these children
the opportunity to get out in the sunshine, and enjoy playing the game
of baseball in its purest form. Leagues begin June 12 2007 in Southfield,

Broe Therapy Choir is comprised of a unique group of men and women who
are recovering from traumatic brain injuries, substance abuse problems
and mental illness. The Broe Therapy Choir will be touring throughout

Youth Abilities Saturday Morning Sports Special at the Boys & Girls

needs dance/exercise program for physically and/or developmentally disabled

Paint
a Miracle is a nonprofit art studio that offers people with disabilities
the opportunity to develop their artistic talents in an atmosphere of
hope, growth and encouragement. There are Monday and Tuesday sessions

Art Experience has a number of on-going events revolving around art

Community
Connection Activities Information. Community Connection provides a variety
of activities and events on an ongoing basis. Funded by a grant from
the U.S. Department of Education, and co-sponsored by Oakland County
Parks and Beaumont Hospital, Community Connection offers activities
and events ranging from Yoga, Chair Aerobics, Swimming to Wreath Making
